This bezel's bright white script improves the legibility of the scale, ensuring that it is visible even at angles where metallic script reflects darkly, becoming muddled. The crisp, stark-white script, seated within the black pool of polished ceramic provides a distinct contrast that will give your Speedy an extra pop. Highly resistant to corrosion, UV-degradation, and virtually scratch-proof, this new Zirconium Dioxide bezel will make sure your Speedmaster's new, modern look is preserved through thick and thin. At night, your ceramic bezel will emit the same characteristic green shine as your Moonwatch, for it utilizes the same Swiss Super Luminova compound present on your dial.
 
How it's Made:
Precision cut from Zirconium Dioxide, the tachymètre insert is precisely laser-engraved to apply its painstakingly slender script to exacting standards. Then, it is carefully polished to bring out the stunning luster and shine of ceramic. After the inserts are sorted, ensuring the script is the proper size and thickness, a solution of enamel and Super Luminova is laid into the grooves, and a vacuum is pulled to mitigate bubbles during curing. The insert and retaining gasket are secured into the mirror-polished bezel, cut from surgical-grade 316L stainless steel.
